The Nicola Valley Family Justice and Mediation Services provides families the opportunity to develop and participate in alternative justice processes when dealing with family conflict and legal family matters. The main focus is to serve Indigenous people, families, and communities in the area; however, the program is able to offer services to all residents of the Nicola Valley seeking help with family conflicts and matters. 

The goals of our Family Justice and Mediation Services are to increase the use of alternative justice processes to reduce the number of Indigenous families involved in the family justice system, to provide quality support and cultural/traditional care to Indigenous families, to raise community awareness of family mediation and programming, and to strive towards truth and reconciliation within the family justice system.
